Hi All,
I have my last crop in and cured. The smoke is nice and smooth yet what do i do now
? I have about 1/2 lb of bud that I need to keep fresh and strong. What is the best way to store for a few months (3-6).

Not interested in selling off this is just for me and my personal needs. So what do i do now?

glass mason jars stored in a cool dark place....make sure the RH is somewhere between 58 - 62% (buy a digital hygrometer from a cigar shop)...lots of good info in the Harvest & Cure section

After you have perfectly cured... Six Month storage ?
Time to buy a vac sealer .... A month jars...
Two jars....
Three months ? I'd vac seal it, in a monthly supply amount...

If you want to keep it as flowers then jars as has been said. You could also hash it if you want to reduce the mass of your stash........ earl away .:mrgreen:

Google Boveda Humidipaks...throw those in with your bud in mason jars and you will be good to go and continuing to cure while storing...i have some flowers in a pint jar that have been vaccum sealed with a hygrometer for over three months and stay pretty steady around 62%. Keeping them closed for another three just to see if these things are legit...

Not judging...but, I don't know how some of these folks function. I mean really, over 4-10 grams a day? Ok, if you are sick or injured and using weed for medicine, I understand.

Recreational, man I just have too much stuff that needs to get done everyday.

Freezing weed is not a good idea.
If it is cured properly it will be fine in airtight jars in a dark cool place.
Some people claim weed peaks at 6 months, for me it is about 3 months

Man i dont know how some people funtion sober hahah. If i didnt smoks 4-5 grams a day i might hurt people.

Why do you think your weed goes the other way after 3 months? i'm just trying to get my arms wrapped around this process. I will be experiementing with mine and tracking the results for future grows.

I've kept my buds in mason jars in a cool dark place for more than a year and it was just as good as the day I jared it, as long as it was cured properly and I'm sure it would last even longer.

I have never stored bud by freezing it but have had great success in storing the cured bud in mason jars. I keep them in a cool dark place and have stored quality bud for over a year.
