Hey MrBud, Black Treacle should b sweet. Just go sparingly on it. One Tablespoon once a week should see you right, depending on pot size (this guide is for a 5 gallon pot).

i should imagine u put it into hot water first then let it go cold before u feed yes?
Yeah should be right. The thing you want to watch is if you over-do it then you can attract pests pretty easy.
Na cool water is fine. Just give it one helll of a shake first. I normally mix my feed (weaker than normal) then PH adjust, then dip a 2L bottle in and fill it up with feed, add the Teaspoon and give it a good shake and add it back to ur mix.
Hopefully ur EC/CF won't sky-rocket on you, but if it does then add water or chems as neccesary.

Black Fly don't eat ur leaf.. Their known as Fungus Gnats, and they attack ur root system. They typically come from watering just before lights out as they breed in the damp, dark conditions. You need to dry out the top 3cm of soil. Try adding some sand to ur pots. It lets ur feed drain through whilst keeping ur top-soil dry. Plus it's Neutral PH :)

This means though that something else is eating ur leaves.. Maybe Thrips, Aphids or a Caterpillar??
