Mold? Spider Mites? wtf....

So ive notcied on my last two waterings, a day after there will be a little puffy white cotton like patches on the wet soil. As i looked more i seen that it formed on my dried up old leaves that sit on the soil after my lst (such as the cotyledons and first true set of leaves) idk if this is because of the decaying leaves creating mold by hitting the wet soil or if im developong a pest problem. The plant shows NO signs of a problem and continues to grow just fine. Is there a homemade foliar solution i could make to use just in case of spider mites?

when i hear white cotton this is what pops into my mind

The cotton like substance isnt that thick, its very thin and wispy and u could see through it, i pulled it off and it kind of like disentigrates when touched, hasnt appeared back since then but this is also what happened last watering, then a day after watering the little patches of it would be in two or so spots, will try to get a pic up from my phone
