Mold in my main buds

hey guys, i harvested a couple plants recently and they both had mold in the main buds. the exterior looked fine for the most part but the insides were SOAKING wet and very weak looking (light green)

this was a new(to me) auto-flower strain, grown by DWC in a closet thats like 6.5 x 3, under cfls

i had no fans and the doors are closed most of the time. would a simple little osc' fan fix this?

can i get some techniques to keep my humidity down or whatever i need to do?

You had no air movement at all during their life? Air needs to be blown accross the underside of their leaves so they can get the best co2 intake as possible. Without this, your air was probably stagnant, humid. This environment breeds mold, mildew, pest, algae, etc.

I would pick up an oscilating fan, and depending on the size of the closet; I would try to create some type of intake/exhaust system with 2 fans controlled by possibly a PC powersupply(psu). Search google for a method to use a PSU as a fan controller, not difficult and you can find old power supplies cheap anywhere.

Sometimes with the larger buds you just have to snip of every other nug to get air in there. Dry the nugs on a screen.

ive looked into those psu/ lab bench power conversion projects to run some led lights but for fans, that seems a little too hardcore for me. my style of growing is really basic and easy. i.e. autoflowers so i dont have to worry about light cycles, dwc is a pretty low effort hydro tech, bathroom mirror light arrays re-wired to plug into the wall w/ cfls. if i could find a small osc fan that clips to the bar in my closet that would be the best. im not trying to spend alot of money or do any labor intensive set ups.
