Molasses - With or without sulfur?

So, I read about using Molasses the last 6 or so weeks of flowering, I'm game. But yesterday I read here to get sulfur free, and today I read this:

"blackstrap molasses is the best choice because it contains the greatest concentration of sulfur, iron and micronutrients from the original cane
material."
Here:
http://www.onlinepot.org/grow/3lbsMolassesManual.htm

So... which is it? Will the sulfur harm the plants?

Opinions needed.

I think the sulfur you're referring to in the blackstrap occurs naturally.
Stolen from the internet:

"Molasses made from mature sugar cane is not sulfured, vs. molasses made from younger canes is, where sulfur dioxide is added as a preservative.
Molasses, whether it is sulfured or not, is produced in grades. The first boiling produces light molasses, and this is the sweetest of the grades. A second boiling gives you dark molasses, and a third boiling results in blackstrap molasses, which is the least sweet of the three. "

I use black strap....one tbs per gallon ( you can use it earlier it helps feed microbes in the soil) and it's really not that much sulfur but it is a micro nutrient that's a good thing
then i alternate feedings with Indonesian bat guano (the high phosphorus kind) one tbs per gallon during flower until about a week before they are ready to harvest
(this was all typed with the assumption you were growing in soil) I'm not sure how molasses does in a hydro situation :)

Thanks for the info everyone. I just wanted to be sure. And yes I am growing in soil this go round. I have heard that it can cause issues in hydro.

Was thinking about bat guano the other day. Might have to pick some of that up also. My local hydro store has it in stock all the time. Actually thinking of mixing my own soil at some point also.

Unsulphered blackstrap molasses, great addition of sugars to plump your buds for the last plump..but be careful .. It can lock out nitrogen so if you areusing it eariler for extra calcium and potassium use very little. For last twoweeks, i only use it the first week of no nutrients.. Flush once with it... Then 2-3 feeding of 1 .5 teaspoons per gallon... So the 2nd week just plain water ... By 2nd water.... All ready to chop

I couldn't find any at the grocery store that was unsulphured but since plants need some sulphur I figured that a little here and there wouldn't hurt.
