Moisture?

I just planted my seedling into a cup and put it under 2 65W cfls. The monitor reads in my closet says its 89 degrees and 80 percent moisture. How come my moisture is so high in my closet? and is 80 percent bad for the plant?

I thought moisture was created from water vaporizing..If I have my air conditioner on all the time and don't ever leave open water around my room why is it so high?

If it's humid where you live, it will be humid inside too. You can buy a dehumidifier if the problem persists...

My humidity stays around 40%. Too much and you could have a mold problem.
