mixing up the mollasses .

hi all , got blackstrap mollasses , can anyone give me a quick outline on how to apply it to bins , I know it's 1 tsp per gallon ( 1 tsp per 4.5 ltr ( uk ) ) does the mollasses have to be thinned before pouring it into my bin soloutions ? thanks guys .

I have read threads on the forum , but nothing conclusive on the actuall procedure of prepare and adding , any help ?

no it doesnt have to be thinned out. adding it to water should be thinning it out. you can also use 2 TBSP a gallon

Mixing it in a cup of hot water makes it much easier to dilute. Then add the cup to your regular watering container.

Also, 1 teaspoon per gallon sounds a little skimpy unless you're just feeding the micro-organisms during vegging (that's what I do). As a bud builder, most growers use at least 1 Tablespoon / gal. Or like Peacemane420 said - up to 2 Tblspns/gal.

Also, what kind of "bins" are you talking about? Do you mean like a hydroponic reservoire? If so - DON'T DO IT! Don't add molasses to a hydroponic system - it will gum up the works (not a good thing!)

i use 1tbls a gallon while they are in veg state. once they go into flowering i throw 2tbls to make the nice and fat.

thanks for the info guys , as for my bins , I'm using 2 60 litre dustbins for my feeds , and pouring direct into soil , I have work out the maths , I think for my dosage into the bins , please correct mr if I'm wrong , if worked out if I put in 1 t spoon per gallon , convert to liters is 14 t spoons of mollasses in total , if I get a cooking pan , normal size , scoop 14 shots of mollasses in , add boiling water untill all becomes thin lquid , could I then pour that into my bin , sorry guys just trying to fiqure a systm to get it into the bins , also , should I drop my coco a + b nute levels and my superior potash bloomer level which is 9 / 18
