Mixing types of lights

I am preparing for my first grow and I am set up with an LED system. BUT, I have recently read of the benefits of mixing different types of lighting i.e. LED and MH. I am considering adding a couple of units to my LED setup. My question for those who actually know what they are talking about (meant in the most respectful way) is what type of lighting would be most complimentary to LED?

Both CMH and HPS can bring something to that party. HPS brings the red spectrum in a big way and CMH packs a nice UV punch. HPS for yield boost, CMH for quality boost.

Its like Gavita 1000 DE that is imagined to be used beside Gavita Plasma...

plasma are supplemental for HPS but it can be done with CMH too... or old MH..
