Mites about to get fucked up

Well the mites did it now, they fucked up and started feasting on the wrong plant. They have already taken out about 10 leafs, even with me spraying them with neem oil. So I just mixed 7 gallons of neem oil, and im using all of it on my 2 infested plants. Hopefully this will do and if not, I have another 5 gallons for backup. My plants are about 2 months old, still vegging outdoors, and they are looking fucking amazing. One is about 3 1/2 feet tall, appears to be more sativa, and the other is about 2 1/2 feet tall, but really bushy with side shoots everywhere. I love them both equally, and theres no way in hell im letting these mites take me out.

If I do loose this battle, and I cannot stop them, I am going to cut all the infected plus alot more leaves off, and throw them in a bucket with gasoline in it. Im not going to let them live either way. And im not goign to let my plants die.

Wish me luck guys : )

PS. my white widow and purple widow, final weight a little over 7 ounces dry, for 2 plants : )

Hey, good luck with that. From what I read, the neem oil doesn't kill the eggs, so here's what you need to do: spray the plant three times a week for four weeks. What you will be doing is killing the adult spider mites and killing the new spider mites that will be catching over the next month. All of the mite eggs should be all hatched within a month. That's the reason for spraying for four weeks. One other note about neem oil. It's half-life is only a few hours. If you mix it up today it will be worthless tomorrow, so you need to mix it fresh every time. Let us know how it goes.

If you aren't into flowering yet, I would recommend something stronger - a miticide. There are very effective ones out there that would kill the mites and eggs the first application. You can then flush the plant and you have ample time for the plant to work any harmful chemicals out of its system before harvesting.

Definitely, if you are still in veg you should use something stronger. If you are in flower stick to the neem oil, but make sure that you REALLY get good coverage, wait two weeks and do it again. That should pretty well cover ya for the little eggies that may have hatched. You don't need to do it multiple times/week. That's just a waste of neem oil. Maybe once a week if you are super paranoid.

Yeah thats what im using, miticide : )

Kills the eggs, and the adults. Just got back from spraying them, gave them a nice dose. Going to go at them again tomorow morning, and so on. Also I have another plant that dosnt have mites, but I think ima spray it just to be safe. This miticide kills and repels mites for 30 days. Pretty expensive but If it gets the job done, its worth it : )

Hopefully I get things taken care of, and I can have another successful harvest : )

yeh I have, but I have heard alot of the times they leave the plants.

I would really like to get a praying mantis tho, they look amazing. Ladybugs as well, but no acess to them around my area, and I dont want to order them online.

I believe there is a shop that sells mantis's however, and I might buy a couple of those. Would be a good video, film the mantis tearing those mites apart : )

Thanks for all the help guys, Ill have some pictures of my girls ( knock on wood ) soon.
