hello there fellow enthusiasts.... as a grower.. i take pride in having a clear consciousness when providing my medical patients with the utmost organic and delicious buds they can find.... oftentimes I am my own consumer as a qualified CA medical MJ patient myself.
I did something out of character the other day though and I can use some input because quite frankly... i dont know where to go to find this info!
basically... I use very organic soil... think foxfarm... i usually do not go with all natural... organic only and when i was at the store the other day.. I needed some soil... i was sort of in a pinch you see and some clones needed to be planted as I did not have the proper cloning tray or really cloning materials... the clones needed to be transplanted asap so I got a couple of bags of soil....
1 bag of vegetable/flower miracle grow and 1 bag of organic choice (there is a little "r" or "tm" after "choice" so its probably not organic... and yes... i am too lazy to look at the bag... i wont lie... i dont trust fertilizer companies... or...companies or any of their manipulative wording choices unless they are known and reputed as an organic source.)
moving on, i noticed some of the clones started acting funny almost instantly after i put them in the normal miracle grow. they are fine just fine in the organic miracle grow... both are meant for flowers and vegetables so... im wondering why the leaves were drooping on some clones almost like the miracle grow was sucking the life out of the plants... the miracle grow SHOULD be fine... right?
long story short and to filter responses from posters... I re-potted the clones in the same miracle grow... after mixing the inorganic and organic miracle grows together along with a bag organic 420 mix.... thinned out the inorganic... everything is growing dandy as candy now but I am just curious as to why the plants would act funny in the miracle grow (when i did look at the bag at home depot of the inorganic miracle grow i saw the NPK was very small... not nearly enough to mess with the plants at all for sure... less than 1 on N,P, and K.. if I recall correctly
Ive left a couple plants in pure miracle grow (inorganic) a couple in pure organic miracle grow.. and the rest are either in 420 mix or the miracle grow inorganic/organic/420 combo. I know that by the end of all my plants growing everything will be flushed... definitely more than 4 months grow time so the fertilizer should be used up and gone by then.
ive got maybe 60 right now... im running sea of green and despite working a medical facility this is my personal project
so yeah, any feedback is appreciated... any personal experiences with the different qualities of miracle grow as well please... im really curious
