I used miracle gro seed starter mix to start my seeds. Was that a wrong choice?? What about using miracle gro in buckets for plants further down the road. Thank you all for your help.

Ok, yes. I use Miracle Gro to grow my cannabis. It's what I used when I first started and what I still use to this day. I'm creating this post for all of the MG users like me who are getting tired of being bashed by others for using it. Im going to post positive proof that MG isn't a trash soil...
Miracle grow is just fertilizer for making plants grow
It took a bad rap while custom weed specific fertilizer created a niche
I don’t know about seedling starter but I prefer no nutrients first two weeks
I’ve used Miracle Gro organic soil twice. No problems either time. I found myself feeding sooner than I expected but I can live with that. I’m not a fan of any fortified soil. Regardless of brand or reputation.
I’ll use any kind of seed starter mix. It’s usually two ingredients. Peat and perlite or coca and perlite . Most are inert. MG brand and Black gold are the two i use the most just based on availability .
I've had some issues with the MG seed starter, mostly because it takes forever to dry and I don't use it often enough to get real familiar with it's characteristics. I have also found that sometimes the amount of fertilizer in it is inconsistent, I prefer the Black Gold, just becaue it's a little easier to work with and drains better. Occasionally, if I'm out of starter mix I just use FFOF for starting seeds, no issues there either.
