Well im about 2ish weeks into flower on the new grow, 5 jiggler from exotic genetix, and one Slymer S1 from mr.bob bitchen. Really hoping they stop stretching because im going to run out of room! They are roughly 4 1/2 ft maybe less.

5 gallon peat plastic pots, pro mix bx.
Updayday 4000 light is kicking ass!!! beyond glad i picked this up in deals thread for less than $100. I miss having a big room, but having the tent im my room im giving them lots of Co2 for free.

Im growing them much taller this time around just to see how it affects yields and nug size. I topped a few, dident top a few. Debating wether to get in there and prune abit… always so lazy And those leafs just look too nice to go hackin em off… First pic is group shot, second it the slymer, and 3rd is poor short fredette fighting for some canopy space. Fredette drinks about 1/2 the water compared to the others.8FF63DDB-1754-424E-9A2A-15A4464E85B1.jpeg943150F6-A076-45B6-A3EC-DA842E822BE7.jpegE305043E-D373-43C2-B6D9-B6743230A67A.jpeg

Looks good. I probably would trim or truck, or something on some of that lower growth that's just piled on each other. Just to try to avoid mold or pm ect. I do trim some but some grows not at all. I try to keep as much leaves on as possible and try to just keep the airflow between growth good.

Yeah i think ill get in there and get the lower stuff this time, last grow i left all those larf generators on the bottem and thats where the pm started i think. Light is not getting down there anyways right? There real tall this time around.

This light had a flowering mode that i used, last time i had more blue light its wild how much these stretched because of it!

I do a lot of training and tend to have less larf but if a plant has a bit I'll take it off and you're right about light penetration.

Im pretty proud of myself so far, ive managed to push the light to my personal limits of about 1000umol. This gives me a rough DLI of 40, and therefore i am now pushing these plants to their full potential.

Running 1.4 EC currently and have been since flower started. Im currently in the process of transitioning to more bloom nutes, im roughly 35/65 on bloom to veg nutes. I plan on max going to 80% bloom nutes and 20% veg nutes in late late flower.

Im going to slowly play with the plants nutrient ratios, shifting to less nitrogen and more potassium and phosphorus the closer i get to finish.

Heres a pic from 2 days ago.

These are the dog days of the grow for me, but atleast slymer is putting on a show for me. Cant believe the frost it has all ready accumulated compared to the jiggler. Smells limey so far.

Since i have the lights cranked ive been watching carefully for deficencies, and it looks like the slymer may need abit more calcium. Im going to back off the epsom abit and up the calcium alittle more.

Heck they may need an overall e.c increase. Im running 1.4 right now but i never changed it since i turned lights up. I figured that was plenty.

Not too much to report, everythings going well. Getting better at keeping the plants nice and stable. Getting abit of serration on the leaf edges, and the slymer was wanting even more magnesium so i bumped it up alittle bit.

I also threw the 95w vipar in there to help cover some more canopy. I was noticing the buds in the front were kinda out of range. 500w total in the tent, would be much happier with a 600w bar light! But i make do for now.

Jiggler is starting to purple again as i had hoped. I keep the tent around 85f or lower during the day and let it get all the way down to 68 at night. They smell different this time so far, like sweet skunk berries.

Loving how the slymer is smelling, like very strong lime skunk. It smells delicious.

Here they are under white light, so far ive been doing well at keeping fans green in flower, im still getting light magnesium deficiencies on a few of the leafs that are getting blasted with light. I think because of the extra co2 i provide, the buds are growing alot faster. They seem farther ahead than last time at the same date. Have one or two branches allready weighing down, had to tangle it in its own branches to get it upright again.

Im anticipating they will want extra phosphorus soon and alittle more magnesium, so as phosphorus increases magnesium bioavalability via mulders chart i will up the phosphorus with abit of mono ammonium phosphate, helping to increase both now that i am entering mid-late flower.

Ive been lowering the nitrogen slowly by transitioning to more bloom nutes, so im not worried about the extra nitrogen from the mono ammonium phosphate.

Changed the lights color temp back to more white light, i figure the buds wont benefit from the hps light setting anymore as they seem to be roughly their finishing size. Still have lots of time to go though!

My eyes may be playing tricks, but it almost looks like the slymers trichombes are pinkish purple at the base? Sweet. I think these may be my biggest buds yet and we havent even hit day 40 yet! Now lets hope i can keep the temps in control now that its warming up. checked the tent today and it was 87f! Got some tacoes…

I also find it interesting two of the jiggler plants pistils are browning and almost seem to be finishing early… hope they dident get pollinated or something? Maybe just that pheno. No nanners so far.

So i havent been checking my ppfd/luxx and the plants have gotten taller and closer to the light.

The slymer is getting almost 1300umol right now! I had not realised i was pushing them so hard, the rest of the tent is sitting between 1000-1200. No wonder its getting a magnesiun deficiency! Poor things getting cooked. That puts me at a rough DLI of 55 for that plant, and for that i am proud of myself. I may back the light off though or just up the mag for the slymer, it may be overkill.

Edit:
I ended up rotating the plants around instead, i dont feel comfortable running that high but its cool to know i probably could have with some more nutes. By re-arranging the plants i now have a max of 1100 umol on a few tops, most are around 900.

DA97BCC5-342F-4DE8-BF50-D25EC9767468.pngGot a nice picture under white light of the colors today.2147D57B-0AD6-4B8A-8B49-31BF5D8D09C5.pngThis one pheno of jiggler seems like it wants to bulk up and take longer, fine with me. It has alot larger nugs than the rest.

So i fucked up this run and did not label my clones correctly, so i have no idea which is which, ill have to grow them out again to figure it out :bigjoint: Luckily i still have all the clones i need, they are just not labeled.

I rooted the clones this time in plain ol peat, worked wonderfully.

Its pretty apperant by now the difference between my jiggler phenos, they all are pretty uniform exept for the large one with still alot of white pistils. The others looking like they are finishing faster, but that could just be from the brown pistils.

If the larger budded one turns out as quality as the smaller budded jigglers, its the winner and ill run that pheno exclusivley for a run. Pretty exited to have my own nice cut of a strain and also know how to keep it going. It will be a hard choice because the smaller buds look more appealing.

Its been getting hot, i may turn the light down to help with the stress. Im getting a few tacos!

Looking really good!
I hit 65 for a DLI after being away for a few days in week 3. A couple fans feel papery on the tallest cola, but no tacos or necrosis.
You definitely know your shit and your strains limits. Kudos on the skill, and beautiful plants.

So i have 2 different smells from the jiggler, the large chunky one is pretty rancid, and also the one next to it. its putrid i kind of hate it not going to lie its an issue and needs forever to cure before its palatable to me.

Its like super rubber smell with garlic or just like, mustard Fumes but not sweet taste or smell of mustard just the bad part of mustard , and also a putrid smell.

The other smaller nugged jigglers smell and taste much sweeter, i really like those, sweet skunk berry.

Im definetly keeping the putrid pheno, because its pretty destinct and maybe i can do something with it, maybe better as rosin?

I got buds falling everywhere, and the slymer is pretty fanny so i decided to tie a few of them up to help spread them out and get better airflow, its been getting 90f :cuss: in the room sometimes, i swear these plants soak up and radiate heat at night. Doing my best to have alot of fans going, they are blowing through water. Still rocking 1.6 e.c

Suprised not all the phenos of jiggler are foxtailing, just the larger ones it seems.
