Greetings from the Mile-High City.
Big fan of the site; read it almost daily. I've gotten a lot of good information from here. I've been growing for a little while now and after some trial and error, seem to have gotten the hang of my little DWC system, so I thought I'd share my first completed grow off of it.
I received these Mango clones from a friend who took them off a plant that fell over and broke. Afterward, he left them in the clone phase for about 4 weeks too long, just sitting in the rockwool cubes in a tray.
Needless to say they were pretty poor looking when I got them. They had 'okay' looking roots sticking out of them but there was a slight issue of algae and beginning nitrogen deficiency. I stuck them in my system and after about 2 weeks of vegetation, they were ready to go.
I was told that these mangos are a fast-flowering strain, but damn I wasn't expecting THAT fast. Fatty nugs at 40 days, gushing with resin, and they just get fatter every day. The buds are sticky like glue. Originally they smelled like Fruit Loops cereal but now smell more like Fruity Pebbles. They're soooo fruity.
Short and squat, didn't stretch on me at all. Good and quick little producers. I only did 12 plants here but you can see this strain would be ideal for a Sea of Green. Plants are on their last 7 - 10 now as they flush. Happy to answer any questions if you got 'em or comments if you've grown this strain too.
Cheers!
