Ok, so I'm not well versed on electrical, I've read many different opinions saying YES you can or NO you cannot use a MH bulb in a HPS ballast. From what I understand, a HPS ballast creates an extra serge to ignite the bulb and that ignitor can blow a MH bulb and/or damage the ballast.
Well, I took my chances and I am using a MH bulb in my HPS ballast, no problems yet, as I assume that if the bulb can handle the power surge when turned on and has been turned on and off for 2 days now that the bulb I am using will work....

Am I somewhat of a sitting duck and eventually the bulb will blow and/or damage my HPS ballast?
