MH lamp ...........would it do the job?

will an 160 watts MH lamp do the job for flowering a single plant in a 16 x 16 x48 inches grow tent? I would gladly use an HPS ,but they give much heat ,and i can't poke holes through the wall to ventilate outside ,so I m looking for alternatives.How is the heat given by an MH compared to HPS?+ rep

I think it's about the same. They both put off a high amount of heat but with a small grows you don't have to ventilate air right outside you just have to cool the room and have proper ventilation in order to keep the heat down.

So far ,I ve had a pretty rough time keeping temps down with an 135 watt cfl.......I use a 4 inch(i think) Pc Cooler at the upper exhaust ,and a smaller one to blow on the bulb......problem is that the tent is in my oom ,lights are on at noght so the temp rises to around 30 degrees celsius (86 fahrenheit) ,if i don't use the coolers at max speed.It's rather the integrated ballast of the CFL that produces the heat rather than the glass part.
So ,buying an extractor is a must ,if I install the 160 w MH?or does it only work if you're venting outside?
