I bought a complete MH setup, bulb, reflector, and ballast all in one (METAL HALIDE 250 watt MH Grow Light w 250w ballast hood - eBay (item 160226253218 end time Apr-20-08 12:03:00 PDT) this is the exact light i bought). I just remembered that its better to use a HPS for budding and i didnt know if i could switch out the metal halide bulb for an HPS. Can i do this or do i have to buy a whole other system? Cuz if i do....fuck...im out of cash.
Nah you dont have ta buy a whole other system, you can use both HPS and MH bulbs with the same system you have but its not neccecary to have both bulbs for the different stages. The MH is an all round bulb that is effective in both vegatative stage and flowering. But it is better ta have both HPS and MH for the diff stages coz it gives u maximum growth and yield. Its all on you though fam
