Just a little question for all....I in no way think that killing is good, but does anyone else think maybe all the stuff happening down in mexico and Texas think it might actually make the feds and cops to focus their attention on that instead of the closet growers just makin a personal crop, just wondering anyone elses opinion

Typically the DEA / FBI ( alphabet boy's) take care of problems at that level.

Small growers are typically caught by local police / sheriffs - If the grow is large enough it will move to the DEA / FBI

I believe Robert Stutman had said that the DEA doesnt get involved with any Marijuana cases where there is 1000 pounds or less.

So in short, no - your local police will not be side tracked by Killings in Mexico, or even Killings in Texas ( unless they are from Texas ) - and it wont be long before the FBI comes in and clears out the local police.

I don't condone pointless killing either. It sucks when innocents have to die. On the flip side though, I personally hope it (the war on drugs) gets a whole lot worse and bloody. We need to end prohibition in this country and the mexican cartels and their violence is probably our best/only ticket.. I honestly think if it hadn't been for the power and violence of organized crime during alcohol prohibition, alcohol would still be illegal.

Does any of this have anything to do with the decriminalization laws mexico now has? or is it more because the border is harder to smuggle across so they are fighting for the market?
