Ah yes, smoke and mirrors. Some people actually believe the stock markets are a indication of the health of the economy. Some people also believe that banks are the economy and as long as they are ok, then the economy must be ok also.

I'm sure its all Bush's fault anyway. The Federal Reserve would have nothing to do with it.

Bush caused the recession? Wow and here I thought it was unrestrained Bankers and MBS and CDO's, who woulda thunk it was just one guy that caused 200 trillion to evaporate overnight. Too bad Obama is powerless in comparison. Can't even raise the living standard no matter how hard he tries, it just keeps sinking. You know why that is? Cuz Obama is a shitty president and has zero ideas on how to turn things around.

Obama can't clean up a recession. He is the president, not the house and senate majority.

Quit looking at the presidents. They can only do so much. Look at the policy and law makers.
