im trying to make some butter, i got some kief from a local dispensary, how much should i use per stick of butter i was thinking 8g of kief to 3 sticks?

ive never heard of making butter with kief before.. have you done this before?

no but it was only 7.50 a gram (cheaper than bud) and seeing how recently i prefer edibles to smoking i figured i'd give it a try. i looked around at some different sites and forums so i know people have done it, but could not find some rough estimates.

but most new users only need .25 of decarbed mmj.. if using extracts the dose is aprox .7-.15g per edible

so if your recipes calls for 30 cookies it's .15x30 = 4.5g of kief

thanks for the info, it worked out well i used 8g for 2 sticks and made around 25 cookies (.32g per cookie) they were potent as shit.
for my next experiment I'm thinking of making chocolate. (after having a Dabba chocolate bar at 200mg, by far the best edible i've ever had.
