Hi folks, I decided to join this forum as when doing my research into the art of growing I got a wealth of info thats been very influential to my grow, so thought I'd take this opportunity to thank all u experienced and inexperienced growers alike for the knowledge u's provide!

Enough of the soppy shite n down to business ;-)

I'm currently growing 5x maxi gom fems & 1x samsara seeds supersonic cristal storm (fem) which I got free from the attitude seed bank. (1st grow so thought I'd trial and error with autos)

My setup:

400w HPS grow lamp
1.2x1.2x2.0 grow tent
RVK 100mm Extractor fan and carbon filter
Oscillating fan

The medium:
Canna cocco plus

Nutes:
Canna A&B
Rhizotonic
Cannazyme
PK 13/14
Flush
(just starting with grow chart)

Right, the situation is i germinated the seeds on 06/10/11 and potted them straight into 10 litre pots on 09/10/11 as this is what everyone seems to recommend with autos as to minimise stress in there short lifes with transplanting! The first few days were brilliant, fast healthy growth, no stretching and they seemed very happy. I know it's only 9 days in but the progress seems to have slowed right down? The temps are not ideal but consistent at 80-85 degrees F, watered every 2-3 days! I'm thinking tht because I've went straight to 10 litre pots tht the plants are possibly concentrating more of there energy developing a good root system and when thts done with hopefully they'll shoot up, but If anyone has any other ideas if u could let me know tht would be ideal.

This and all my other statements are purely for roleplaying purposes only! :peace:

All MJ plants work on establishing a root system before they really start to put out solid vegetation, whether they are autos or not. For the first 10-14 days you'll get fairly modest growth and then boom!....she'll take off. But with autos you usually only get about 3 weeks of veg time and then like 10 days of stretching after they sex... and the plants will probably be no more than 2 ft tall max. I started out with autos as well, they make for good training plants as they are pretty easy to grow and allow for screw ups in the light cycle as they are not dependent on the light to flower. With that in mind, I would recommend going with 18/6 throughout the grow to promote as much growth as possible in the plants short life cycle.

Best of luck
