massive cola first grow tell me what you think

This is one of my plants from my first grow its got alot of sativa in it im guessing because its in its 9th week of 12/12 and still going strong. Any input is always appreciated. And if someone with experience with sativas has any idea of how much longer she may go until I can harvest her Id love to know. Shes the one on the left in the first pic. Let me know what you think

hey man great job on your first time... yes they look like heavy sativas.. you can tell because of the long narrow finger like leaves. some sativas can go 12 weeks or more.. i would keep an eye on the hairs if you do not have a microscope and harvest the top cola when they turn brown and then let the bottom go another week or so..

what lights did you use?

150 watt hps and 2, 65 watt soft white cfl flood lites. First grow got them in a closet type cabinet from lowes. next time im going to use 400 watts of hps in the same small are prob using sea of green. got some concepts brewing just waitin on these two to finish.

For your first grow with only 150w hps...Very NICE

Those look awesome for your first time bro great freaking job. I think I'm getting my 150 sooner than later. You won't be let down with the 400 it kicks out some lumens (and heat lol) better get you some good ventlation. I fought with it for a while. Doing a stealth dresser grow right now with cfls till I get the 150w. How hot does your 150 get?

It gets too hot too touch obviously, but I can keep my plants about 8 inches away from it without incident.That is of course with good ventilation. I am surprised with the outcome too, but think it could have been better, I had too small of a container early on, some heat stress problems, and a somewhat irregular nute schedule. Chalk it up to experience I guess. Thanks for the input guys keep it coming. More pics to come as they get closer to harvest.

Ya for sure my 400w with the fan running to pull the heat out stays pretty cool. When I get the 150w I'll use my euro hood with it and just use the cheap reflector for my legal plants.
