Mars Hydro TS600 v 250 Metal Halide

In a 2x2 space. Which is better for veg? Is the difference noticeable in terms of plant performance?

They are going to be similar light intensity on the canopy, depending on what kind of reflector you have on the MH bulb will give a lot of difference on the MH light. The MH light usually has more of blue white, a higher K value, compared to the ts600. Verify that with the manufacturers info. The plants tend to grow shorter internodal spacing when there is more blue in the light. When I first started, I always veged under MH and flowered under HPS.

If you want to go LED. A SUNRAISE qb2000 would be perfect in a 2x2. Check the best deals thread to see if @Marq1340 has posted any discount codes. He posted codes for this one about a week ago. Not sure if they still work.
