Can someone provide me with a link that explains medical MJ for use for Alzheimer's?
I have a relative who was just diagnosed having Alzheimer's. I want to bone up on the facts before I mention trying MJ to slow the progression.
I am a strong believer in medical MJ, even though my state is not. I want to know the facts before I let him know of my support for medical MJ.

Thank you.

it basically comes from it's neurogenesis attribute.

cannabinoids induce neurogenesis in areas of the brain in which cannabinoid receptors are present (which is almost all areas . . ., especially the hippocampus and frontal cortex)

those two areas of brain are the ones deteriorated by alzheimers, cannabis works against this by being neuroprotective and having neurogenesis.

that should be all the evidence you need. good luck.
