Well i remember someone started a post like this last year and i enjoyed checkin out everybody's guard dogs so i figured id start one this year. if u got a dog watchin over ur ladies post a pic... here are my two dogs that watch over my bitches.

lmao dr green... and the white one is my bitch and shes almost 3 years old, the brown and white one is my boy and hes almost 2. but come on i know there are more guard dogs out there watching over our plants, lets see pics.

nice looking dog, dont see too many corsos around. my grandfathers friend has got two but other than that i dont know anybody that owns one. i bet u paid a good amount for that dog huh?

now thats a pit bull... that girls got some spring. i dont like when people got these fat old bullies who couldnt even run around the block if they had to and they pawn them off at big pits. dont get me wrong i like they way they look and all there just not pits so i dont like when they try to make it seem like they are. they arent even close to conforming to the breed standards. makes real pits who are athletic and agile look bad. nice dog u got there.

Thanks, yeah they can be pretty expensive anywhere from $1000-$3000 depending on the breeder. He was 7 months in that pic and about 10 months in my avatar, he turns 1 year next month and is still growing like a weed!

Agreed, a true APBT should max out at around 65 lbs. The large "pits" you see are American Bullys which are becoming recognized as their own breed with their own breed standard, beautiful dogs just not a true American Pit Bull Terrier.

The last guy I knew that owned a Corso was doing life at Folsom Prison, and the dogs killed a lady in San Francisco! The dogs were living with his lawyers!

I could be mistaken but I had read a similar story in an article and the dogs were Presa Canario. When people meet my dog they always ask if he's a "giant pit" or a Presa.

A dog with a tool box that big is just plane scarry.
A dog is like a loaded weapon running around between your legs. If a Chiuaua goes off accidently, it's like a bbgun, might break the skin.
One of those Monsters is like a shotgun! It ain't gonna grow back! Those dog's have a very lethal tool box!

I wouldn't let anyone I cared about, spend much time playing with a loaded shotgun.

thanks and yea i take offence when people ask me is she a real pit lol
just because shes not one of those stocky bullys that people call "pits" when they're actually not even pits
her stamina is amazing
i find it that when i take her to a park and throw the ball around im always getting winded before her lol best dog i ever had byfar
sucks they get such a bad rap
