Male preflowers? Gender help!!

I'm doing my first grow, 6 bag seeds, FFOF w/FF nute line, distilled H2O, LED/CFL combo, approx. 2 months in veg state. I've had pre-flowers for about a week or two on this "girl." The first couple I noticed were distinctly female -- although small -- I could clearly make out the trademark "white thread." However, all of her new growth in the last few weeks has these little bulbs, and I'm honestly not sure if they're male pre-flowers or just clusters of leaves. They seem too big to be pre-flowers, but since one of my girls who's only a few days ahead of her has HUGE (over a cm long) female pre-flowers, it wouldn't be surprising. Let me know what you think please! Thanks!!!

I think those are just new growth starting. Mine have growth similar to that and they've all turned into new leaves or branching. I'm guessing those aren't the technical terms of what they are but that's how I would describe them.

looks like balls to me, but then again, i don't stare at balls....when I realize they are balls, I look away, i look away at your plant's balls

Those are definitely both females. You can see her little whiskers :). If you see those balls on every stem. Then I'd be worried. It's a girl!!!

Yayay! Thanks everyone :-) That's what I thought but the others didn't have it so I was worried....I topped this girl so I guess she's just getting ready to bush out!! SO glad I posted pics, now I can breathe again haha

those are not pistils. just new leaf growth. that plant needs to mature some more before it shows sex....

Those look like two different plants. One has alternating nodes, which tells me it's mature, the other seems to be symmetrical which means it's immature. Neither how any signs of sex yet. Those claiming either way don't know weed from parsnip.

The one with alternating nodes may show it's sex soon, but I've had many that don't show until I've put them on a flowering light schedule.

There are no pistols in the pics, only stipules. No balls either, just new growth.

Take some clones and flower them. It's the only real way to sex a plant.

Also, I lean towards female, since the males seem to get "horny" with the right conditions.

Haha well I might not be able to tell gender that well but I can assure you it's the same plant! One pic is from lower down and the other is from above where I topped it. There's definitely some female preflowers at some of the other nodes; I've just never seen a male preflower before so I wasn't sure whether this was new growth or the start of preflowers. This morning, though, I was actually able to make out another female preflower next to one of the nodes I posted pics of so its lookin good!
