male plant shedding pollen

Any time on male shedding pollen. I am trying to capture some pollen for the first time and save it to seed a plant. My plan is to freeze it then wait til harvest, leave some female flowers on the bottom of plant after harvest. Dust them with pollen. Get seeds. Male is indoors and under 12/12. lots of pollen sacks. 13 days in 12/12.About how long is it before male drops pollen?

do you have to be under 12/12 to make seed..... lets say like can you pollinate & revert back to veg???

do the seeds need 12/12 to grow & be viable

The male is under 12/12 to get it to pollinate. I want to harvest the female first then seed a few flowers. I think at that point I need to keep under 12/12 or am I wrong
