Male plant questions! ! Pics & what to do?

So I found a male. Just about a week into 12/12. In fact most said it was too soon to tell but you see a lot better in person than with a crappy phone pic. Anyways I decided to trim a lot of him apart that way I had fewer balls to watch. *also to try a spin at cloning even though it's somewhat useless for a male I want to at least be successful at it.

My questions!!!

1) how long is it safe to keep him in my tent?

^I have no other tent. I could possibly put him in a spare room but the lights are far from comparison to my tent's. If this doesn't matter I'll go ahead and make the switch. I just wanna make sure I can keep him going long enough to collect pollen.

2) how long can pollen be stored? I've heard two weeks to 6 months.

3) just put a bag over the balls before they bust and that's it?

4) when I go to pollinate one of my fems I plan on using a small paint brush with water. I want to just pollinate a small site to get some seeds for the future.

^^ will doing this will almost guarantee that my whole tent gets pollinated regardless of me just applying it to one site?

5) MOST importantly I'm curious to the scraps. I'm not advanced enough to pursue super soil or composting. I'm curious if there's a value to the scraps, such as making butter with them.

Thanks!!!

I would get the male out ASAP. Even though you are considering pollinating just a small site for seed production, I would be concerned about the fan blowing that pollen all around the tent.

Right. So would you agree that I shouldn't pollinate just one site in fear of the fan blowing it to others?

Yes Thats my concern but I like the idea of practicing cloning on the male just to get a feel for it

after it starts to show male flower clusters move out of bloom room somewhere else so it will get some light, amount isnt as important at this point. keep the branches to just the main top. collecting pollen i just turn male on side of a white board and shake. scrape up into pile.

When you pollinate just remove female from bloom room and take her to another room. mark branch that is getting pollinated with something. pollinate branch with qtip. stick plastic baggie over branch with rubber band. spray branches around with water. return to bloom room. remove bag after 3-4 days outside of bloom room. spray area again lightly.

Pollen can store for awhile if dryed and kept properly. some use rice. i usually stick on qtip and wrap up in foil in plastic bag then stick in fridge. last couple months for me.
