A little too early. If a white hair pokes itself out of those new growths on the node, then it's female. If they swell like a ball, and are joined by other balls around it, then it's male.

What would you say for time frame at this point the plant is about 7 weeks from seed and it is growing in hydroponics.

Give it a few days, up to a week. Check when lights initially come on daily. They can literally not be there one day, and be very noticeable the next.
