I recently started 20 seeds 5x3 strains and the other 5 were all different strains. All but one germinated with no problems. I allowed all of the plants to pre-flower under 24/0 photo-period before i put them in 12/12. Astonishingly they all pre-flowered female! Now i am 10 days into flower and one of the seedlings i'm not so sure about, which is one of the strains that i only had one of. It is supposedly OG Kush, although after a little research it seems that may be bull shit. Anyways this plant has definite female calyxes with pistils on the top of the plant, but at about the forth internode it seems that the pre-flowers are male, only at the forth internode on the stock and on both sides. It looks like a little stem with a ball on the end but still not developed enough to tell. I do not want to risk pollination but i don't really want to just chop this plant out because i don't really have anything to replace it at the moment and i don't have a place to quarantine and finish the plant out. What would happen if i pinched these two male pre-flower? Would it help from turning other parts of the plant? Is there any kind of semi-permeable bags that you can put over your plants and tie off? Also, if I did find a suitable place to finish this plant in quarantine would it pollinate it's self and if it can will the seeds be useless because they came from a hermi? Also, i cut clones off this plant when it was in veg, if the plant is a hermi, will the clones when cut with only female preflowers be hermis too? If anyone could shed some light on the subject i would appreciate it. not much longer before this plant is dropping pollen uploading pictures tomorrow
