well, a branch from a tree broke off and fell on my 3 week old plant.. this branch broke off the main stem where most of the leaves/branches were growing. it also broke off a branch..

now my plant is just a stem with 1 branch that has 3 pointed leaf, first set of true leaves and the cotyledons..

will my plant be ok? will this affect its size much?

Post a picture, you can try re-attaching it, using something to hold it into place. I've heard it will heal itself.

Kinda late to graft now. What you got to lose? See if it recovers. They are weeds and can take alot if roots are good.

from my experiance with trees that have been damged in the same way or wind damage, to sapplings up to 4-6 in diameter grafts woork great.. if the ends have no dried up, get a splint, to brace the stem, and a porous fastner, gauz held in place with rubber bands work well, you can also get tree tape from a local nursery :)

hope that helps dude :)

Sorry for your loss, you should of Grafted it rightaway... MJ grafts very easily

i used a the metal reflective tape cause it was the only thing i had on hand when something similar happened to me, she broke 3/4 way through and i tapped and supported with some sticks, building a knot now, although im not sure if the break will ever reclose.

I had a broken branch and after using some regular duct tape to hold it in one place. It was fully recovered in 2-3 days. Just don't throw it away, try to save it!`
