Growing in biobizz all mix soil 3.8L rhizo pots
Plants are 3 weeks in veg, using biobizz fishmix

This has happened to 3/4 plants out of alot
It's not all over, just 1 or 2 lower/older leaves

Is this a magnesium deficiency?

Sorry I can’t see the picture but if suspect rootzone issue first thing to make sure ph is in optimum range

I believe plants care about ph of growing medium, regardless the medium. Your dirt could be heavy in peat making your soil ph in the low 5’s or heavy in what would make it to high (don’t know what that would be).

imo make sure ph is in optimum range for plant species you grow. People do stuff to ph their lawns, so they are green and healthy

not saying it’s for surethe problem, just for sure the first thing to make sure is good because if not, nothing else works right

Yeah of course, i grow hydroponics usually ph is a must but with soil i was always told you don't need to PH but will check it out

Soil like dirt? Or are you calling a peat mix dirt? If it's actual soil you can forget adjusting pH. Otherwise you need to consider it. Don't mess with a runoff pH because that's useless information.

Please provide a citation from a peer-reviewed journal for your assertion.

"Runoff pH is useless" or "Keep an open mind"?

The statement that "runoff pH is useless" is going around RIU. It seems to be a statement which clearly states 100% lack of usefulness. I have an open mind about runoff pH. While I don't use Hydrobuddy, I do use a spreadsheet and make my nutes from scratch. It's a PITA, tedious and time...

That's not what a peer reviewed paper is. Did you go to college? At all? That's a paper about treating the runoff for environmental purposes. Ridiculous. Read the damned thing and not just the headline.

Because it's on lower leaves, I think it's more likely low nitrogen.
