I had this issue on my last grow which was my first and i figured it was magnesium deficiency so i decided to add some epsom salt(about 1 tablespoon per gallon) to my soil mix for the next grow thinking it would fix it but even with the added epsom salt to the mix the issue is still there.

I am a bit loss on to what to try next as i am now wondering if its some other issue or a mix of things. I was going to try epsom salt foliate but this will not work in flowering so i figured i would reach out for help.

any input is appreciated!

Thats what it looks like a magnesium deficiency. You can use epsom salt in the soil that will be fine, I wouldnt bother with foliar. Itll take a couple days to notice any difference usually. Your nitrogen is a little high as well. What fertilizer are you using and how much how often. Give a little more info so we can help you better.

thanks for your reply! i did notice nitro being a bit high and will adjust my soil mix accordingly next time as right now i am only giving it water and soluble seaweed about once a week but for information here is the soil recipe i used.

Admendments:(Per Gallon)
1 tbsp all purpose (4-4-4)
2 tbsp alfalfa meal (3-0-3)
2 tbsp kelp meal (1-0-2)
1 tbsp dolomite lime
1 tbsp epsom salt
1 tbsp gaia green rock dust blend

so i guess my best bet is to keep feeding epsom mixed in the water? should i add more epsom in my flowering/future soil mix to avoid this? im really curious as to why im running into this issue with every grow so far :\

Stop with the seaweed for now maybe use it every other instead of every watering. Just sprinkle a tablespoon on the top of your soil and work it in they will get some each time you water. Your soil recipe needs some work, there is plenty of soil recipes on here if you use the search function or I could give you one thats pretty simple and straight forward, just pm me. Are you trying to keep it organic?
