Macrophomina phaseolina - Charcoal rot? Inspection / advice needed...

This late season fungus wiped out two of my ladies last year, looks as if I've got it again this year on two stalks again! If I'm correct it's in its early stage now but eventually the fungus rots the stalk and it turns black! Grrrr... Can I intervene with anything!? Milk? ANY suggestions would be helpful, one dark spot is on one of my biggest ladies! Reps for advice!!! Any fungicides that I can use at this stage? The disease seems to be a real problem with soybeans in the southeast, suggestions?! The blackened stalk is from late Sept last year, also the plant, the other pictures are from yesterday.

Yes I have heard you can foliar spray with milk, but I have no experience with it myself. Very nice plants, I wish you luck!

I really need an expert opinion on this one, I posted the same query in the outdoor section in vain, I'd like to applicate something by tomorrow so I can try to stop the spread of it, I looked at some commercial fungicides today bu was not convinced by any of them, I have a 50/50 water/milk mix in a spray bottle in the fridge and will use it as an initial remedy, in the meantime, bump.

No help on this one, yikes...

for starters go spray the effected spot with hydrogen peroxide it won't even need diluted on the stalk

Really? hydrogen peroxide? I'll try that ASAP, never had to use it!
