M/F with Pics

Hi,
First grow so I am not sure if I should cut this or wait a little bit longer, seems to me like pronounced male but not sure. Please see the pics.
If it is male - what is the best way to deal with it as it is in large common pot with 5 other flowers - should I just cut it at the base and leave roots in the soil or should I try to get the roots out as well?

Sorry, yep that's definately a male. I would cut it to the dirt - I don't know what you would do about the roots, or if it'll be a problem. In the future, you should put a single plant per container - makes a difference when you have a problem, only dealing with one at a time.

Thanks, will go this afternoon, should I keep the leaves/plant for cooking/extraction or is it totally useless ?
