I planted these clones out here about 3 weeks ago and at first their growth rate was a little slow, but now its starting to take off. as you can see in the photos, half are being scrogged and the other half lst'd...just trying to figure out what method works best yano?

to help keep this a little more organized I'll be numbering each plant

so the strain-map for the pictures goes

SCROG LST
-sour diesel #1 -blue dream #2

-blue dream #3 -headband #4

-sour diesel #5 -headband #6

-sour diesel #7 -headband #8

-blue dream #9 -blue dream #10

because the dirt in my backyard is very hard and filled with clay
I simply dug holes for each plant and poured into each hole, foxfarm
ocean forest.

as I dug the holes I got progressively more and more tired (and there were
more tree roots to cut through) I dug the holes in the back a lot deeper than the ones in the front.

for the two in the very back (#1 and 2) I poured 80-90 gallons of soil in, and for the rest, (#3-10) I poured 40-50 gallons of soil per hole.

thread info
every saturday I will post more pictures and update the thread with more info on how they're doing and what ferts I'm using and such. it's a easier day since I water them and do all the maintenance saturdays.

so there was a little I left unasnwered about these plants, the whole reason I'm doing the scrog and lst for the plants is because we don't want it to be extremely obvious that we're growing pot (the christmas tree shape is a little too recognizable lol) and the fact they're a more efficient method of growing is just an added bonus too.

so on to update #1 (5/5/2010)

well it was 3 weeks since I planted them and the screens are starting to fill out and I decided I'd drop by the hydro store and pick up some nutes, I was planning to get foxfarm's stuff but once I found out they're not organic, I decided to just go with some roots organics stuff (buddha grow). I gave them a light feeding today (5ml/gal) with 40 gallons of water, and later on I'm going to foliar spray them some nitrozime (algae extract).

I think once this roots organics stuff is used up I'll get some Foxfarm liquid nutes, just to compare, and I also have some GH florablend (compost tea) that I'll be adding next week.

sorry about the pictures being a little confusing, but just use the map in my first post to figure it out
