LST.. have i created a canopy thats to dense?

hey there guys.

this is my second grow. I'm growing autos. 2x think different and 1x red poison.
my first grow was under cfl's, this grow is HID lighting, started with 250w MH now running a 400w HPS as they flower. I have done alot of lst to the plants I was almost using scrog idea but without the net. If that makes sense lol. Any way... I'm just a little bit worried that iv created to many bud sites on one of the think different.. The other snapped, so I had to tape it and that stoped me opening it out as much. The one that wasn't opened out so much seems to be producking much heavier looking preflowers. The one I have open out the most has a lot of bud sites but they are all small. Is this a good thing or not? I'm maybe thinking its a different pheno as its alot bigger than the other ( alot more leaf growth) but it seems further behind in bud development. I'm worried iv made the canopy too dense... Maybe some of you guys could see what you think. Will put pics up now.

how old is it? Looks okay to me

in its 5th week from germination. Will those little bud sites grow taller and produce nice size buds?

any idea on whany idea whats causing this? Its only on a few leavs. Im worried its a fungus.

it will get taller and the buds will fill out. However most people don't recommend lst or defoliating with autos since you have such a short time to grow. Any time wasted in stress you don't get back since they are on a hard clock.

yeah I know what your saying mate, I know its not reccomended to do much to autos. People seem to get great results using LST on think different, some have even got better results by topping this strain. Its a longer growing auto. Duper auto lol. Some go over 100 days an yeild huge. Will have to see how thwese fill out. I'll keep posting pics and doccumentinv from here.

i had a heavy indica that looked likethat with the big fan leaves and i let it flower as is. the only problem is you will get wimpy buds under the canopy but i harvested the tops and let the undernath stuff go an extra week. it filled out more than you would think. i just fed a pk booster like quarter strenngth as soon as i chopped off the first tops.

I used to grow autos and would just top. Then lst.

and honestly i wouldnt worry about a couple leaf spots. if it gets worse then worry. you might have just pinched the leaf right there or something. overall looks pretty healthy

Dense canopies are great. If you lollipop! I would avoid it on autos. I like to lst, top,fim etc. It gives the scrog effect but with mobility! I am running a new setup so I can scrog now if I want. Before I liked mobility so I could move them and also flush them really good in the tub.

I'd selectively trim out some inner leaf growth to improve airflow and light penetration..not a full defoliation, just a few here and there.

Leaf spots look like nuted water that splashed on them.

yeah I have thought that. Early on I removed most of the lower bud sites that were below the conopy or didn't look like they would do much. I'm tempted to remove some leaves but worried about stunting growth as its an auto. Iv been tucking leaves out the way. I'll upload some new pics now... Compare to the last ones.
