hi, i am about 5wks in to my first crop of autos and using biogrow, biobloom and top max. im wondering when to stop using the nutes and start flushing,
i foolishly have them in 5litre pots and i reduced the veg feed on one of them a few weeks ago and within a few days the dark green started to fade so i started on full strength again and the colour has come back.
ive read in a few threads that 2wks before end date is a good time to stop feeding. but im a little concerned this mught be too early if they started losing colour within the week

If the foliage starts to lighten up to light green or a mixture of light green/yellow then a 1 week flush will be sufficient. the way I was taught was after a week of flushing snap a fan leaf off, and taste the sap that drips out. If it tastes bitter then there are plenty of nutrients left in the plant so more flushing is needed. When the flush is complete the sap should taste like pure water...even though water doesn't taste like anything ...but you get the idea.bongsmilie

You say your 5 weeks into flowering...start checking, and recording info on your plants progressing every few days. Doing this will give you a jump on when to start the flush, and have everything ready for the harvest, and allow you to harvest when THC production is at its highest.
