Lowryder strains- when to switch lights

I have a couple of dieselryders growing under cfls. When is the right time to change the bulbs from 6500k to 2700k. I was actually thinking about changing out one bulb on each y splittter for now.
Right now two of them are a little larger and also seem to be showing balls. Perfect for me because I am doing a seed run. I just want to make sure I have my lighting in order.

At the moment I have 12 6500k cfls and two 4ft shop lights hanging on the sides. The shop lights each have one cool white bulb and a "grow" light.

i would also like to know the answer to that question being that i too am looking to grow the same strain next go round .

questions i have for you is, where did you get the seeds & are you in the u.s.

I've done some reading on the LowRyder Series of plants.. and I'd have to say I think since you don't really have different "stages" of growth like perhaps a full sized plant does.. I'd use a equal mix of 6500's and 2700's for the entire life of the grow. I've heard they like 20/4 the best from start to finish. I'm curious to see how the rest of your grow goes !! I'd very, very, much like some diesel ryder.. NYCD is my hands down fav bud.. so to have that in a "mini" version would be fantastic..

*edit* I just went back and looked over your pics man.. the 2 that are showing sex are fully males in my opinion.. I'd like to see what someone else thinks.. but I'm about 80% sure you got boys there..

I've read and heard nothing but good things about the NYCD. I wanted to grow the lowryder version since they are quick and also stealthy. Hopefully after a successful seed run I can do a small indoor grow and get a nice outdoor patch setup next season.


Boys are a good thing for a seed run! Now I have to keep my fingers crossed the 3rd ends up being a girl. So far I've had bad luck germing seeds lately. 3-10 for the dieselryder
