i thought this was the most appropriate place to ask this question, i'm not new to growing but i am new to auto flowering plants.

can anyone with any knowledge or experience give me info on the best light cycles etc?.....

any help would be much appreciated :)

Not really sure about this, but I think your lights should be 18/6 or 24/0 until the plant shows signs of flowering, and then you should change it to 12/12. I'm really not sure about this, so anyone can feel free to correct me.

ok, i'm bumping this because i have a few more q's.....

what is the yield like, compared to a normal plant with say 4 weeks veg in identical conditions?

what's the least amount of light (cycle) they can live on?

thanks

well they can live on any light cycle really, the reason to get an autoflowering plant is because you can run them on a 20/4 schedule and get a faster harvest.

they don't yeild as much as a normal plant but the ones i have will support anywhere from 20-60 grams per plant

20/4 schedule.if using a potting mix,use canna coco,or coco product,with perlite, a lil bit of lime.And liquid fert.

Well I've recently dipped into autos myself for the first time, tried out the lowryder2xak47 auto-fems. what I found was this- Great for someone with space limitations. The lowryder/aks I got were supposed to top out at somewhere around 24". Now, I combined that low stature with lst to create a decent bush, 11" tall, that weighed just shy of 4oz's WET. Lighting is best at 20/4, but they will flower under any lighting cycles. My understanding is that u can hurry them up a bit with a shorter light cycle, say an 18/6, but they dont yield as much. Myself, I have found them nice to have in my closet flowering while a totally different strain known as 'harry the 8th' vegges away to her motherhood at the same time.
