Lower Power Mother Tent

I'm tossing around the idea of keeping a mother. If I do this I'm trying to think of ways to keep this as low power as possible. Bill is already through the roof with my grows and I'm trying to not double it just for her.

In ya'lls opinion, what would the lowest wattage you'd recommend to keep a mother happy? I'm a strictly hydro grower, but id put her in soil for the ease of forgetting her occasionally. The last thing I want to do is spend countless hours a week finagling with her. Would probably get the smallest tent possible and keep a stout bush to pull clones from. Id only really need 2-4 at a time, pending what takes.

Just a thought, maybe this is not for me. I mean, popping autos every few months has its perks, especially for switching up genetics.

I use an HLG 60w QB panel over 2 moms. Seems good enough to keep them healthy - but might want some more ooomph like the 100w version if you frequently need to take clones from them.

I'm starting to feel weird about bringing it up so much, but you should keep a bonsai mother. It will give you a few branches to clone at a time and you can keep it under a weak light in a small spot. I don't really know about watts because I keep mine under a T5, but I'm sure any little grow LED would work.
