Humidifiers: 2 humidifiers
Temps: 73-81 (min and max) mainly at 77 and humidity is always 45-65.
Pot size: 3 gallon
ppms: 780
pH:5.8
Species: Afghan Free seeds,White Widow,Royal Queens Critical, White Rhino, Dr. Kripplings Incredible Bulk.
Okay so to start, I started to get Fungus Gnats in my flower room. I used sticky paper, Mosquito bits, and a layer of sand to combat the issue. It was late in flowering but it helped a lot. Sadly those fuckers moved to my veg room. I did the same thing. Except this time I added a little EWC to the top of the pots. Well its been some time and the gnat problem seems to have pretty much gone away. During my war against the pesky little fuckers, I noticed that the lower leaves and branches started yellowing and dying off, but I did not know if the yellowing was because of the Gnats or a nute deficiency. A few days go by and the Yellowing continues. I upped the Lucas formula to double the amount for the past week in order to try to combat this. Still lots of leaves falling off (I can shake the plants and the floor surrounding will be covered). I just changed the nutes to the 3 part General Hydroponics nutes on Wednesday thinking different nutes may help. The lucas formula I had been using had a ppms reading of around 700-800. The double amount was at 1400 ppms. I was worried but i upped it to 2000 ppms. Extremely high for anything i have grown before. I am using epsom salt or cal/mag i alternate. I am not having the same issues with all the plants mainly the Afghan. I have 4 in Coco and 1 in a 5 gallon bubble bucket. The one in the 5 gallon bubble bucket is having no issue at all and is massive. The White Widow looks amazing, the rhinos are much younger and seem to have a little yellowing going on.
Today I flushed 3 gallons of water and 3 tsp of Floraclean and then watered with a bottle of H2O2 mixed with 4 gallons of water.
I have a younger White Rhino that is just starting to show signs of yellowing with brown/grey tips on the lower leaves. See below:
