Low Stress Training and Scrog Q's

So, when you are doing LST how long do you leave the plant tied down before you release it from the wire/string etc...?

And when using scrog, do you just make sure that the stems that are budding (colas?) are funneling into the squares and thats it?

any help is much appreciated, thanks!:joint::peace:

LST stays tied down right to the end, though i guess you could untie it towards the end
that's what i've done on my LST's, done 2 so far

for my LST's, i used a 2 foot high grow chamber, that is the nice thing about LST, just about the shortest technique
actual plant was about 18 inches tall, was an oz or so, just fine for my needs

i see, i feel like if your plants were a little bit taller you might want to untie them because of growth, i guess im just going to have to see though

Once a branch thickens and hardens into the shape you've forced it into you can untie it, unless it needs the support in which case a screen or stake is better.

Once I had to move some plants outdoors emergency style and they were all tied in crazy positions. They ended up flowering outside, but I completely forgot to untie them and the ties were restricting growth big time since the stems were trying to thicken to support the foliage above, and had to try growing around the tie like a tree growing through a fence. They were like 3-4 feet high when they went outside and I've always wondered what they could have produced if I didn't screw them up like that. Don't do what Donny Don't does!
