Yea less nutrients is really more .
The plants store a lot of food in their leaves and theres also plenty in the soil.
I water with 1/4th strenth nutes in flower once a week, In veg i give quater strenth nutes every 2 weeks
Theres a lot of peaple on here who run soil and over fert by nuting every watering or every other
