sure. even with a loupe the best advice i can give u is "if u think they're done, give them a week"

Yeh anything you can zoom in well with... you can see guides online to check how much should be orange before harvest

A good smart phone can do a decent job but if you want a true and definitive answer a digital microscope is under $30 and cool to boot. Takes 5 min to setup w an app, then you zoom like you cannot do w a loop or phone

Yep, I bought a loupe, and another thingy just to end up buying the usb microscope for $20.

Its a club we all join! Try going cheap and ez then get the right tool! First run it gets hard to believe how many little gadgets you need lol!

A loupe can be a double edged sword. Some newer growers are scoping their plants well before they're ready, seeing some amber trichomes, calling it done, and chopping way too early. A loupe isn't needed to tell when a plant is ready. I can tell just by looking at the plant.

agreed, but needed for bug inspection if suspected.
