Lotus dry in fridge. Has anyone tried this

Has anyone tried this dry technique, I am looking for other options to dry because I'm have a hard time getting Temps down in my small tent in the east coast. I have read about how to do it, but looking to see if anyone has experience with the outcome.

I’m trying it out atm with one of my plants. I’ve wet trimmed. It’s currently the first day I’ve put it in there. Temps at 45-50F rh around 40-50. I put it in a brown paper bag with an hygrometer in it. I’ll let you know how it goes. I live Hawaii and the temps here has been in the 80s and I can’t afford to run an AC unit all day but I do have a mini fridge lol. Hopefully it works out
