Lots of rain plants in danger?

Its been raining a lot lately and im wondering if my pants are in danger of dying from to much water?

depends on how well your soil drains... sandy soil is good... clay is not... and depends on your water table...

I transplanted several 14" plants nearly 1 month ago near a small creek. I didn't count on my area here in the southeast getting 13"-18" of rain in 2 days (see national news, flooding etc.) I drove by the area a few days ago as I try to limit the exposure my vehicle gets near the site and sure enough, clear evidence of flooding with branches and other debris all over the place. Plan on going tomorrow for a careful look to verify that they either washed away or covered over with crap. Wish me luck.

Wow thats so unfortunate, Are you growing directly in the ground or in pots ?

Finally go out yesterday to look at the plants and things didn't go very well. Of the 5 Super Lemon Haze plants only one survived the flood and one other bagseed plant. Neither looked remarkable enough to post pics as they looked pretty stressed after being basically under water for several hours if not days. I was either lucky or smart to retain a couple of mother plants (1 S.L. Haze and 1 Cheese) so the year won't be a complete loss. Plants at the flood-site looked so bad that I think I will simply go back once or twice for maintenance and just go back for harvest in Oct. or Nov. and devote efforts for my clones. All that planning and cultivation screwed up by a flood that the experts say won't happen again for 5000-8000 years. Fuck.
