Sorry for your loss.... I lost this gem a year ago next month, she was about 11-12 years old... Every time she gets brought up, including presently... I gets all teary eyed and bitch like but its really tough to loose a family member... I seriously feel your pain, its an awe-full experience and I'm truly sorry you had to go through it... Remember the good times and those full on conversations you've had, any true dog owner will understand that one. Every one of my siblings has shown up with a similar looking puppy in the past year trying to get me to take it but I just cant, it was literally like loosing my best friend, absolutely no other way to describe it. The only place this dog didnt go with me was the places she wasnt allowed, however she'd be right outside waiting for me with the shame on you for not bringing me in there look...

So sorry to hear this. Our dogs represent the best parts of ourselves, and it's tragic that they're with us for such a short time when they should be with us for life. If you loved her this much, you took great care of her and she was lucky to have been with you through her years.
