Looking for cheap, low heat lights

Hi,

In my original grow i had a 250 watt light and balast but the heat was too much and the electricity was kind of high.
Wondering what kind of lights are available, would cfls be better? I don't want to spend a lot of lights.
I think the grow would be no more than 4 plants, probably white widdow which can grow about 6 or 7 feet if i remember?

Cheaper LED lights will help you out. The more you spend the better product you get, but my buddy's getting away with using 2 155 watt ebay LED's for his closet Veg and there doing just fine.. (His electricity bill and heat stay very low)

A couple hundred bucks will get you going..

Dude. Do LEDs put off less heat than CFLs?

I have always wondered this.

Man I dont know actually, I would say there just about the same
