Looking for a mold resistant early finisher for growing outdoors in BC

I grew a few plants last season, 2 never finished and went moldy. the other one was an autoflower that started to rot when it wasnt finished yet either. needless to say a pretty disappointing season. looking for something that will grow well with a couple months of sunshine and a wet finish to the season. any suggestions?

Usually my first inclination would be to recommend something that does not have large, high density buds, as these strains seem to be more susceptible to mold and fungus in wet environments.

I've had good luck with a strain from Dr. Grenthumb's seed bank called Iranian Autoflower (IAF). Grew very large plants in a very short period of time and I harvested in late August. I guss one way to beat late season rain is to use a strain that harvest early! This is an Indica strain with a earthy, hashy taste and high yield.

Get some organic milk.... 50 parts water to 1 part milk, spritz flowers every week or 2 with this concoction.. proactive bacteria.

wash off few weeks before harvest.

Buying it. Or move it inside. Wet weather during flower, especially toward the end, is an invitation to mold/bud rot/mildew and whatever else lurks about. But search for mold resistant (meaning sativas or sativa dominant with the airier buds)

Might want to check out Heribei from Sannies Shop, it was bred for outdoor growing in Holland...and if it will finish there it will finish in the PNW. I'd like to try it myself but outdoor grows here are doomed, seems like every critter around just loves noshing on weed, from slugs up to elk.

Check out the Royal Canadian Marijuana Collective. They have genetics that will finish in BC that are also extremely mold resistant. Lots of variety there.

Where'd you hear that about Herbei Chong?

I was gonna say the heribei because I've only read good thins about it, and that it was breed for the holland climate which can include a cool, wet season.

Do you have any experience with Fast Freeze? it looks like a good candidate as well. the freezeland/newhaven says its more for southern growers. looks like good genetics though.
