looking for a good reusable DWC system for cheap

Easily. Buy black buckets for $5 buy an airpump$20 and some tubing $2

I agree. Doesnt get any cheaper. You can build a 4 bucket system for less than $30-40.

Bucket, net pot (don't cheap out), air stones and tubing.


Also to consider: Lights, nutrients, suppliments, pest and disease control.

Thats where it got me! Nutes & supppliments! Luckily I already had a light but my electricity bill doubled.

I got a plain 5 gallon bucket, cut a hole in the lid for a plastic pot, dropped an air stone in it, filled and added my plant. I change buckets about every 7 days. It's my first try and its working great. My latest pic was last night and is on the last page of my thread. Check it out and let me know what you think. To avoid hi light bills you might try to veg with cfls and only use the hid to flower.

Either you never use electricity, or you live in a tiny house... lights do not usually take up a bunch of power. A 400w is like running a computer, but for half the day. Nonetheless, off topic. The Viagrow DWC on Amazon for $30-40 is what I started with. Basic, simple, and more importantly... it works great!
